For over the past 5 years, I have been the in-house graphic designer for a national
non-profit organization that creates social marketing materials to teach the general public about the misuse and abuse of alcohol. It has been very interesting to grow as a designer while being able to learn about the impact of good design while creating communication materials for the general public about social issues.

The design process that I have learned has been very disciplined. All of the topics for the concepts that I developed are research-based.

My work goes through focus-group testing and is opened up to an open forum of people who fit the profile of the target audience. This helps me to gain feedback about the design and the effectiveness of the overall message. It has taught me always keep the target audience in mind and it pushes me to constantly be thinking about innovative ways to relay important information and come up with a design that will appeal to the end user.

I am in charge of design and production of all of the print materials and products that FACE offers. I have been in charge of creating the brand identites for different product lines and have created a unified message identity for complete social marketing campaigns.

I have had a chance to broaden my design skills and created design concepts for FACE's online newsletter and have provided design support for website templates that have been created for our clients prevention efforts.
